What does the science of dream interpretation say?

What does the science of dream interpretation say? Sleep is one of the signs and signs of God. When man falls asleep, his soul goes out of the window of the body and flies to the higher universe and the heavens, and whatever the soul observes in this journey is imagined as a sleep in the mind.

The Holy Qur'an has several words for sleeping, including "holm" which includes "holam" as well as "menam" and "dream". In the hadiths the word "dream" is also mentioned, and honest and good dreams are also referred to as "revelations".

True dream

One of the hallmarks of a dream come true is that it stays in the person's details; but sleep is not vain or distracted, and if left unchecked, it is meaningless.

Time To Dream

Allame Khalil Zahiri quotes Imam Mohammad bin Sirin as saying that the time of realization of the interpretation of sleep is also different from the validity of the time of dreaming, for example:

A dream that appears at the beginning of the night appears at least twenty years after its interpretation.

The dream that appears at the end of the night is almost immediately interpreted.

The dream that appears after the dawn of Fajr is interpreted within a month.

The ultimate fulfillment of the dream is twenty years, because the interpretation of Prophet Yusuf's dream came about after twenty years. It should also be borne in mind that these calculations are based on analogy and are not conclusive because there are no clear and clear sentences and explanations of the Qur'an and tradition.

It is important to know that sleeping is not one's own; therefore, if one sees himself in paradise among all the angels, but his behavior and conduct are contrary to the law, he will not be considered righteous and righteous by seeing such a dream.

Also, if one sees himself in the midst of hellfire, he will not be counted among the unbelievers and unbelievers when he sees this dream. Of course, such dreams can be a sign; seeing paradise is a sign that one is able to do good and good, and hell is a sign that one is suffering from and must avoid doing so.

Is the interpretation of sleep true?

Yes, this is a fact that has been mentioned in many verses and traditions. The two young men who were in prison with Prophet Yusuf (as) had fallen asleep and described it to Prophet Yusuf to interpret it. Or, in another verse, he refers to the king's dream that he saw "seven fat cows, seven thin cows eating them, and seven green and seven dry cubs" who told this dream to the people to interpret: "These are disturbed dreams. It is disturbed and we are not aware of the interpretation of these dreams. ”But one of them, who was in prison and aware of the ability of the Prophet Yusuf (AS) to go to sleep, asked after the Prophet Yusuf and the king's interpretation of the dream, and he answered. Other verses also refer to other dreams.

There are several categories of dreams:

3. The dream that comes from the thoughts and imaginations of the person in the awakening, whatever he thinks in the day to dream in the night.

Sleep that is related to the temperament of a human being, such as one who is hot temperament, often sleeps in a fire, bath, etc.

3. The evil dream of the devil, the disturbing dreams.

2. Good and sincere dreams that come from God either bring him good news or guide him.

You can also add another hand to the narrations:

3. Dreams that result from human sleep, such as sleeping next to a person or sleeping at night or sleeping too much or eating too much and ...

It is clear that only the fourth category can be interpreted and should be taken into account. First, second and fifth hand sleeps that have no meaning. In the third case, when a man finds bad dreams, he is tempted by Satan to make the believer unhappy, and man, according to the first narrative, tells no one to turn to God after Satan, or three times on the left. Pray or pray.

The fourth category dreams are of two types. Some dreams are so clear that they do not need to be interpreted. People dream of something that happens in awakening. Some dreams do not have clarity and need to be interpreted like the ones mentioned in the first page of the Qur'an. How should these dreams be interpreted? Anyone can do that in the science of interpretation of sleep. Of course, not everyone can be trusted in this regard.

Is Ibn Sirin's dream interpretation true, who is Ibn Sirin?

Ibn Sirin 'In the last two years of the caliphate of the second caliph and according to another narrative, the caliph of the third caliph was born and died in the year AH. He was a person of knowledge, jurisprudence, scholar, nobleman, very honest, good moral and ... His job was to play. No one has ever seen him in the market, and no one has seen him except God.

There is no doubt that he was a dreamer and that he was said to have done so with divine favor and approval. " There are stories about this that are not known to be true or false. Some have said that he has learned the science of interpreting sleep from others. Now that God has given him this knowledge or learned from others, he has finally dreamed of a dream and a righteous one.

Ibn Sirin's book: Although it is famous for Ibn Sirin, it is actually written by Sheikh Abul Fadl Ibn Ibrahim Tbilissi who authored it at the end of the sixth century. , Daniel Nabi, as quoted by Ibrahim Kermani and Jaber Maghreb, and others. Later, some parts of his book related to Ibn Sirin were published as a standalone book.

But what needs to be noted here is that dreams differ in their interpretations of individuals, so there may be a similar dream that two people see in their interpretations. Because the interpretation of dreams varies according to the time, occupation, temperament, and moods of the individual. Therefore, the interpretations of the books cannot be the same for everyone.
